How is pour over coffee different from Brazilian Coffee?

Cafezinho, or Brazilian Coffee, is made by boiling water and sugar, adding coffee grounds, and filtering out the coffee mixture.  Big Joe is a great tool to help you easily filter your Brazilian brew, as it has greater capacity than other pour over models and doesn’t easily clog. It can really help speed up the final part of the Brazilian process.

How is pour over coffee different from cold brew coffee?

Cold brew is similar to Cafezinho or Brazilian Coffee. However, instead of adding the coffee grounds to hot water, you add the coffee grounds to cool water and let it steep in the fridge overnight. Then, you filter out the final mixture. Similar to Brazilian Coffee, you can use Big Joe for the filtering step to ensure you eliminate the grittiness and are left with a smooth batch.

What is the recommended coffee to water ratio for Big Joe Coffee Maker?
