Making cold brew coffee is as simple as five steps. If you follow these instructions, you’ll be on your way to becoming a cold brew coffee aficionado.
- Start with freshly ground beans. To make cold brew coffee at home, you need to use freshly ground beans. This will ensure that the coffee has enough flavor to extract the full benefit of the process. For the perfect ratio, add ¼ cup of coffee for every 1 cup of water.
- Mix the coffee grounds with water. Once you grind the beans, pour them into a container with room temperature water. Stir the mixture and let the mixture sit overnight or for 12 hours.
